History

Believers Fellowship Center began in the summer of 1979 as Wayne and Dianne Elston responded to an invitation to come to upstate NY and start a Bible-based ministry. Along with their two children, Michelle and Jeffery, they began holding Bible studies in homes and rented facilities, and the work grew into a flourishing church.

From the very beginning, the Word from the Lord was: "My people are hurting. Teach them My Word." Therefore, through the teaching of the Word and the demonstration of the Holy Spirit, we continue to endeavor to train and disciple people to be overcomers - spirit, soul, and body. God's Kingdom and His righteousness are our pattern to follow. When Jesus comes, He will find us doing Kingdom business.
